Resolved Estate Issues:
Sewage Problem: Blocked Mains – Barnsley Wood Rise
Hi,
I have a house in Barnsley Wood Rise and my tenant has reported a strong sewage smell. We have had a private plumber attend the property to confirm that the blockage is not within the property.
Upon further inspection from the plumbers and the manhole, there is a blockage in the main sewer in the road and he could not unblock it.
Can someone tell me who is responsible for this and who to report this to as I believe affinity water supply the water to the properties?
Any help or a contact would be appreciated as this is going to be an issue for other residents in the street as well.
Communal Landscape Area – Barnfield Way
Why is nothing being done about the poor state of the landscape garden plot below property windows I am in plot XXX Barnfield Way & the garden plots here are either overgrown or bare and filthy ?
Windows
Hi wondering if anyone could offer advice on glazers. My glass has blown, SHW can’t offer advice. Has anyone else had this problem or know anyone who can advise please?
Spindle Walk Landscaping
Unfortunately the plants planted in bark outside my and my neighbours houses never survived past 2 months of us moving in last year due to poor weather (being planted when it snowed). All of the plants in front of numbers 1,3,5 and 7 Spindle Walk are dead which makes it a very unattractive welcome to our new home! I know myself and a neighbour have been in contact to re plant but haven’t had much response. I was hoping you might be able to help?
Kerb Stone
The raised Speed hump along Maypole Street that intersects with Moss Lane has become displaced and is a Hazard to the Public.
